Something magical is coming to Spetchley this autumn…

Following the success of The Great Dragon Egg Quest at Spetchley this summer, we’re delighted to welcome Spellbound back to the gardens with a brand-new magical adventure!

Spellbound, the team behind the Great Dragon Egg Quest, are transforming Spetchley into an enchanting world of spells, magical creatures and wizarding challenges this autumn.

Step onto The Enchanted Path to Wizardry and prepare to discover incredible installations, magical challenges and plenty of opportunities for photographs along the way. ✨

 Your Wizarding Adventure Begins!

Your adventure starts at the Magical Wand Tree, where every young wizard will be chosen their very own wand. Then it's time to decorate it at the Wand Decorating Station before setting off along the enchanted path.

But what will you discover along the way?

Meet a magical dragon

 Take a broomstick flight

Battle with ice and fire spells

 Reveal a spectacular quadruple butterfly

Solve the Spellbook Tree challenge

 Find the glowing crystal balls and discover the secret prize word

And every young wizard will receive their very own Wizard's Guide to help them complete the enchanted path.

 Choose Your Wizarding Session

To help us manage numbers and make sure everyone has plenty of time to enjoy the adventure, there are three sessions each day:

10:30am – 12:00pm

12:30pm – 2:00pm

2:30pm – 4:00pm

Please book your preferred session time when purchasing your tickets.

Each session gives you time to explore the magical trail and complete the wizarding challenges at your own pace.

What to Bring

Bring a pencil! ✏️

You'll need it to help complete your Wizard's Guide as you make your way around the enchanted path.

 Dress for the magic!

The Enchanted Path takes place outdoors in the gardens, so please dress warmly and come prepared for autumn weather.

Sensible footwear is essential. The trail takes you through the gardens and ground conditions may be muddy or uneven, particularly after wet weather.

And don't forget…

Dressing up is compulsory!

We want to see our gardens filled with witches, wizards and magical creatures! Wizarding dress-up is compulsory for this enchanting adventure.

Cloaks, hats, robes, witches, wizards, magical creatures… the more magical, the better! ✨

Parking

Parking is in the Main Gardens Car Park.

Please follow the event signage when you arrive and allow plenty of time to park before your booked session begins.

Need a magical pit stop?

Little Al's Kitchen will be open with a takeaway service during the event, offering refreshments to enjoy during your visit.
